The word has been going around.

What’s with all these hashtags?

#๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐—ต๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜, #๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐—ต๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด, #๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ธ๐—ฎ๐—ต๐—น๐—ถ๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜๐˜†๐—น๐—ฒ ..?

Implementing fitness in your life, probably makes you ๐ฌ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐. You don’t know if you can be consistent. You’re not sure if you can prepare your meals everyday. You don’t really know how to deal with calories. You have a hectic job, and you have friends that always ask you to hang out.

Well, I have that kind of lifestyle. Hectic. Sometimes my lifestyle gets too crazy, that mismanaging my social life and work life is a normal thing for me.

“๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐๐จ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐š๐ ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ค ๐ฌ๐จ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐š๐ญ ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ฐ๐š๐ง๐ญ, ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฅ๐ž?”

That’s my point. I’ve been interested in fitness even before my military days in Singapore, around 7 years back. That was during my high school days, where working out was easy, since managing my high school time table wasn’t that hard.

๐˜ฝ๐™ช๐™ฉ ๐™„ ๐™œ๐™ค๐™ฉ ๐™›๐™–๐™ฉ, ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™„ ๐™™๐™ž๐™™๐™ฃ’๐™ฉ ๐™ง๐™š๐™–๐™ก๐™ก๐™ฎ ๐™ฅ๐™ง๐™ค๐™œ๐™ง๐™š๐™จ๐™จ ๐™ข๐™ช๐™˜๐™. I was lifting same weight almost every day and I didn’t look like I lifted at all. Then I had to enter military and that’s when my life changed.

I realized that even with working out, my fitness level was still extremely poor. We had to do a fitness test and I barely passed. ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ (๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ค ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ).

I saw my commanders with ๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐˜‡๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ฏ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€, ๐—ฒ๐˜…๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—น๐˜† ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐˜, ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ๐˜† ๐˜„๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐—ท๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜ ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—บ๐—ฎ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ. That’s where I grew inspired to delve deeper in fitness and nutrition.

I learnt a lot, experienced different styles of training and nutrition. I tried preparing meals everyday for a while, I tried training like a bodybuilder, a powerlifter-and even tried bodyweight-only exercises and prioritized running.

๐“๐ก๐ž๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐๐ง’๐ญ ๐ ๐ž๐ญ ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฌ ๐ˆ ๐ฐ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐. And furthermore, they were all unsustainable as my social life and work life grew bigger.

I realized that I had to change my approach to fitness altogether. That’s how I started the #inikahlifestyle.

Given my already hectic schedules, I’m still able to maintain, if not grow my physique into levels I haven’t reached before, effortlessly. Eating all kinds of foods, training minimally with the #inikahlifestyle approach got me to where I am.

It saddens me to see how messed up the fitness industry is now. Unnatural athletes selling products and portraying unrealistic goals to people. I never even use Whey Protein and other supplements. ๐ˆ ๐ž๐š๐ญ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐จ๐. ๐‘๐ž๐š๐ฅ, ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐จ๐. Not those broccoli and plain breast meat nonsense.

This drives me to change people one by one. I’m inspired to impart all my knowledge to people who are not interested in bullshit and crappy coaching. I’m inspired to see people implement fitness and nutrition effortlessly with #inikahlifestyle. I swear, this method can be used for life (yes, even until you’re grey and old). It’s amazing.
